Recent Discoveries

-that cars are expensive to up keep and really annoying.
-that when popcorn kernels expire, its' for a reason. don't continue to use them thinking that the date means nothing. they will burn.
-that I am extremely slow in the morning. I thought it just took me a long time to get ready..but no matter when I get up, I am always late.
-i do not like to scrape my windows in the morning at the end of April. And two days in a row made it much worse.
-the more I shop, the more clohtes I buy.
-every job, no matter how much you like it, will have its ups and downs.
-i can't live without ice-cream. I tried. doesn't work.
-one of my main staples is popcorn. i had it 5 out of 7 days last week.
-i hate to run. i will only run because it is more efficient, not becuase i like it.
-spence now has about 8 grey hairs in this little patch in the front of his head instead of 3....well, at least he's not balding, right?
-that although as a little girl I hated them, one of my favorite article of clothing has become dresses.
-freezer dinners save my life. if I didn't make them, spence would only eat maccoroni and cheese.

so here's the pics of chuck. even though I know no one even cares. haha unless spencer's mom reads this or spencer does. but there's a close up. he is such a little pretty colour! and this is me and chuck just hanging out. he used to fly away but now he will hang out on our knee or shoulder for a long time while we watch or tv. you can barely feel him he's so light!

CHUCK

So it's been a few weeks since I updated my blog. Sometimes I think that I need something REALLY exciting to blog about. But I don't really. So I thought I would blog about our new addition to the family. And I promise I will put pictures up some time..

Anyways, so no, it's not a baby. And no, it's not a dog. It's a bird! haha. I think this is funny becuase after living with Zlani, Spence's family's bird, i swore I'd never get one, EVER. But I fell in love with this one at the store and just had to get him.
His name is Chuck. I didn't think I would blog about him, but he is just so darn cute. It's funny how when we first got him he didn't like to stay on your finger or knee and just sat in one place in his cage, but now he's getting used to us and has a little personality. His favorite show is American Idol. EVERY time that the beginning music comes on he starts doing his soft little chirps. And then he will like try to sing with contestants and stuff. funny.

I secretly think that he likes Spencer better...but I hope not. I won't bore you with anymore really, but once you meet him, you would love him. even ask Taren, who hates animals. she now has a secret crush on him, I'm sure of it.

Regrettable and hopefully forgettable

So there are times when you do some split second decisions, and sometimes you think about them for a long time, but then later you come to regret the decision you made.
For instance, this morning I couldn't get my bangs to work right AT ALL. which sounds so superficial, but will seriously ruin the whole day because then you have to go with a headband or pinning them back or something. but i decided that the reason they weren't working is because they were too long...so instead of waiting for my appointment in 3 weeks, i decided to just give them a little trim...yikes. now i look in the mirror and wonder what I was thining. I will now have bad bangs for the next three weeks!

So that got me to thinking about other things that I have done that I regret. Some not that serious, others more serious. So I decided to make a list. In no particular order, I might add.

-i regret going through a red light a couple of a weeks ago. 2 second decision that cost me 287 bucks.

-i regret pushing angela down the basement stairs when I was like 10 cuz she was bugging me.

-i regret pushing angela and make her fall down on a metal box that sliced her knee open..oopss.

-i regret letting shanna foil my hair in grade 11 when she really had no idea what she was doing! (and
what was I thinking, black and blonde????)

-i regret that my favorite article of clothing in grade 6 were sick puke green velvet overalls.

-i regret telling a joke that no one laughs at. I'm sure this has happened quite a few times, but I can't ever forget the time in grade 9 at Devin Smith's house...embarasses me now to even think about it..

-i regret ever creating the email account jewelsjulius@hotmail.com. i hate telling people my address, yet I have never bothered to change it since grade 6.

-i regret being super clicky in high school....i thought 4 was the perfect number...

-i regret taking pure math 30 when i didn't have to.

-i regret juding people by their apperance..still do it all the time.

-i regret lying to my mom's face in grade 11...only time that ever happened. idiot.

-i regret wanting a cheaper flight and took the lay over in halifax for our trip...worst decision ever.

-i would list names of boys that i dated, (josh will never let me live down tooth...) but we'll just say anyone but Spence was a mistake, obviously. (ahhaha.) even though at the time i thought it was a bad decision i would regret later..

-i regret eating so much on thanksgiving day and fast sundays that you feel sick..

-i regret buying that shirt with angela convinced that it would be an easy fix to make it fit me....wrong again.

-i regret buying our civic without getting it inspected...i guess you learn from your mistakes..

-even though I say this is not in order, sometimes my biggest regret would be buying spencer a ps3 for christmas that one year. Although I do not regret suprising him and making him happy, if I would have only known.....maybe the house would be cleaner, we would spend more time together, his homework would be done, and I wouldn't wake up at 5 am from him crawling into bed after playing video games for 10 hours...
